Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Deena studied Early Childhood Development at Golden West College and has always had a passion for working with children. Two defining moments in her life were becoming a mother and fully submitting her life to Christ—both experiences have shaped her faith, perspective, and purpose.
Deena and her husband have been married for 34 years and are blessed with two beautiful children. Their family is growing even more exciting this year as they look forward to welcoming their first grandchild in September. A fun fact about Deena’s family is that her son, daughter-in-law, and daughter all work alongside her at WVCS, making the school truly feel like home.
Outside of work, Deena enjoys studying the Bible with friends and spending time working on puzzles. She treasures the relationships she’s built at WVCS, especially the sense of community among staff and students, which she describes as one of the greatest blessings of being part of the school.

KC Ellson has been teaching Bible to students in 7th through 11th grade at West Valley Christian School since 2019. He holds a B.A. in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Youth Ministry from Grand Canyon University and earned his Master of Divinity from Phoenix Seminary.
Originally from Arizona, KC’s faith journey began when he was just seven years old. After moving to a new city, neighbors invited him to church and Awana — despite another neighbor’s attempts to keep them away. Through that invitation, KC became the first in his family to come to Christ, and soon after, his entire family began attending church and gave their lives to the Lord. That life-changing experience shaped KC’s passion for discipleship and continues to influence his teaching and ministry today.
KC is married to Danielle, and the two are excited to welcome their first son in September. Outside of the classroom, KC enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family over board games.
What KC loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the school’s strong partnership with local churches and parents in the spiritual formation of students. He considers it a privilege to come alongside families and help students grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word.

From that point forward, her relationship with Christ has been central to her life and continues to guide her personally and professionally.
Family is incredibly important to Natalie, and she feels blessed to work alongside her mom, brother, and sister-in-law at WVCS. Together, they share a strong bond and a commitment to their faith and community.
Outside of work, Natalie enjoys writing and has recently developed a growing love for reading.
What Natalie loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the opportunity to encourage and build one another up in Christ. She deeply values being part of a team that worships and serves God together, surrounded by kind, supportive, and faith-filled colleagues.

Suzane Foudoulian joined the West Valley Christian School team in 2025 as the 3rd Grade Homeroom Teacher. She earned her Education and Teaching Diploma from Haigazian University in Beirut, Lebanon (2005–2009) and continued her studies in Special Education (2016–2017) as well as Teaching English for Young Adults (2019–2020).
Originally from Lebanon and proud of her Armenian heritage, Suzane grew up in a loving Christian family where faith, values, and community were central. Her life has been shaped by significant steps of faith, including moving from Lebanon to Los Angeles three years ago and more recently relocating to Arizona. Through each transition, she has learned to trust God’s plan while staying grounded in her roots and faith.
Suzane met her husband at church when she was just 16, and together they have built a home centered on faith, love, and service. They have two boys, and over the years, Suzane and her husband have served together in various Bible study groups and Sunday school ministries, always opening their home to foster connection and spiritual growth.
Outside of the classroom, Suzane enjoys acting and being on stage, often sharing her passion for performance through children’s plays and birthday entertainment. She loves spending quality time with her family, participating in Bible studies, and creating special memories with her two boys. Even simple activities, like taking care of her home, bring her joy as she pours her heart into caring for her family.
What Suzane loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the strong sense of faith and family. She treasures knowing her boys are surrounded by caring teachers and faith-filled friendships, and she feels blessed to work alongside others who share her passion for Christ. For Suzane, WVCS is more than a school—it’s a place where students, families, and staff encourage one another to grow spiritually and academically, grounded in God’s grace.

Michele Francken has been part of the West Valley Christian School family since 2014, serving as the school’s librarian. A proud second-generation Arizonan, Michele has always called Arizona home and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. While attending the University of Arizona, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies, Michele rededicated her life to Jesus—a decision that shaped her journey in profound ways.
Her lifelong passion for books and children’s literature led her to step into the WVCS Library, where she discovered her true calling. Michele loves pairing her joy for reading with her love of teaching, making the library a vibrant place for students to grow and explore.
Michele has been married to her husband, Scott, since 1997, and together they have one son, Jonathan, a senior at AAEC High School and a proud WVCS alum. Outside of work, Michele enjoys nearly every sport—especially baseball—and loves baking, with bread being her specialty. Of course, reading continues to be one of her greatest joys.
For Michele, WVCS is more than just a school—it’s a community. She is grateful for the teachers and staff who partnered with her family during her son’s years at WVCS and treasures the opportunity to witness students grow from kindergarten through high school in her role as librarian.

She holds a B.S. in Nutritional Science & Physical Education/Kinesiology from Purdue University in Indiana and is passionate about helping students embrace a healthy, active lifestyle while understanding the importance of honoring God through caring for their bodies.
Accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior has been the most transformative decision of Amy’s life, shaping her faith, family, and calling. She’s also deeply grateful for her parents, whose encouragement inspired her to pursue her goals with confidence and purpose. Combined with her education and evidence-based approach to health and wellness, Amy brings a thoughtful, Christ-centered perspective to her role at WVCS.
Amy and her husband are both passionate about health and wellness and love encouraging others to feel their best. Together, they have two children who attend WVCS and thrive as part of the school community.
Outside of teaching, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, reading nonfiction, weightlifting, exploring the outdoors, and living an active lifestyle.
What Amy loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the opportunity to equip students to care for their bodies — the “Temple of the Holy Spirit” — in a way that honors God. She strives to make Physical Education a fun, engaging, and educational experience for every student, helping them grow in both confidence and stewardship of the bodies God has given them.

Cindy Gilbert joined West Valley Christian School during the 2023–2024 school year and serves as a 4th Grade Teacher. She earned her degree from Arizona State University and recently completed her Bachelor’s in Christian Counseling. She plans to begin working toward her master’s degree in Christian Counseling this fall.
Cindy grew up in Casa Grande, Arizona, and one of the most impactful moments in her life happened when she was in junior high. Someone from a local Baptist church knocked on her family’s door and shared the gospel for the first time. Learning that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came to save us changed not only her life but also the lives of her parents, brother, and sister — a moment she continues to thank God for to this day.
Cindy has been married to her high school sweetheart and best friend for many years, and together they have four grown children whom they adore. They’re also proud grandparents to three amazing grandchildren, with another on the way!
Outside of the classroom, Cindy enjoys walking, spending time with her grandkids, and hosting family dinners on the weekends. While she loves being at home, she also enjoys the occasional road trip to California to visit extended family.
What Cindy loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is working alongside teachers, students, and staff who share her faith. Amber Hann serves as the Music Teacher at West Valley Christian School and has been part of the community since 2020 as a staff member, though her family’s journey with WVCS began in 2016 as parents. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education (K-12) from Arizona Christian University and is passionate about using her gifts to inspire a love of music in students while helping them connect their talents to worship and faith.
Amber was born in Indiana while her dad was playing professional soccer but has called Arizona home since infancy. A defining moment in her faith journey came during a high school mission trip, where she experienced God’s heart for people in a new way and began to see life through a different lens. Another life-shaping chapter came when Amber and her family stepped into the foster care system—an experience that brought both joy and challenges, deepened her faith, and strengthened her reliance on God.
Amber has been married to her best friend, Jeremiah, for 17 years, and together they are raising five incredible children, all of whom attend WVCS. Their home is lively and full, shared with two curious and rambunctious kittens.
Outside of school, Amber enjoys spending time with her family, photography, and cherishes those rare, quiet moments of peace and solitude (“moms, if you know, you know!”).
What Amber loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the way faith is fully integrated into daily life. She believes education should be holistic—helping students grow spiritually, academically, and personally—and is grateful that WVCS provides a place where students can live out their faith in tangible, meaningful ways.

Those experiences continue to inspire her teaching, allowing her to integrate biblical truths into the classroom while building meaningful relationships with her students.
Maggie comes from a close-knit family and is especially proud of her younger brother, who is studying to become a firefighter. She’s also grateful to her parents for their support and the values they instilled in her.
Outside of school, Maggie enjoys golfing, exploring new coffee shops, babysitting, and spending time with her boyfriend.
What Maggie loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the opportunity to share God’s love every single day—not only with her students but also alongside the dedicated staff who make WVCS such a special place.

Jamie Molkentin has been part of the West Valley Christian School family since 2012, teaching Middle School Science and inspiring students to explore God’s creation with curiosity and wonder. She earned her B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child and Human Development and her Teaching Credential from California State University, Long Beach after completing studies at Orange Coast College, Golden West College, Coastline Community College, and Northland Pioneer College.
Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Jamie grew up by the ocean and gave her life to Christ at 19 — a decision that changed everything. Over the years, she has served on mission trips to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Eswatini, experiences that deepened her faith and passion for serving others. With 24 years of teaching experience, including 14 years at WVCS, Jamie sees education as both her calling and ministry.
Jamie met her husband at a Christian camp in California, and their paths crossed again seven years later — this time leading to marriage. Together, they have two children who attend WVCS and a beloved Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix named Maximus.
Outside the classroom, Jamie enjoys making sourdough bread, non-toxic laundry products, and organic skincare items. She’s passionate about clean eating and loves experimenting with new recipes. In her free time, she enjoys reading murder mysteries, traveling with her family — especially to Kauai — and cheering on her kids at basketball and baseball games.
What Jamie loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the sense of family. She treasures the opportunity to see her children grow both academically and spiritually, loves that her husband gets to speak at chapels and camp, and finds great joy in building relationships with her students. Her prayer is that every student who walks into her classroom feels seen, heard, and loved.

Another milestone was marrying her high school sweetheart, a decision that continues to shape her life today.
Megan comes from a close-knit family, including her mom, dad, and brother, who lives in Alabama with her two beloved nieces. Outside the classroom, Megan enjoys photography and immersing herself in a good book, two hobbies that allow her to combine creativity with curiosity.
For Megan, WVCS feels like home. She loves being part of a community where faith, learning, and relationships come together, and she is excited to pour into the lives of students as they grow in both knowledge and character.

Eileen Orona joined West Valley Christian School in 2023 and serves as a 5th Grade Teacher. She earned her degree from Arizona Christian University and is passionate about guiding her students both academically and spiritually, helping them grow in their love for God and others.
Originally born in New York, Eileen moved to Arizona at age four and grew up in the Phoenix area. Her Italian heritage instilled in her a deep love for family and, of course, really good food. She credits her parents for modeling the importance of being part of a local church and serving God faithfully — a foundation that has shaped her own life and ministry. Eileen and her husband have now been serving at their church for 24 years and have experienced incredible blessings through their church community.
Eileen met her husband in college, and together they’ve been married for 22 years. They have three children: their oldest is a junior at Grand Canyon University studying digital film, their daughter is a senior and a varsity cheerleader, and their youngest is a high school junior eagerly awaiting his driver’s license. Rounding out the family is their lovable Maltese/Yorkie mix, Macy, who proudly believes she runs the household.
Outside of the classroom, Eileen enjoys reading, watching movies with her family, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. She also loves leading worship alongside her husband, which allows her to combine her passion for music and ministry.
What Eileen loves most about the West Valley Christian community is the relationships she gets to build — with fellow staff members, her students, and their families. She deeply values being part of a Christ-centered environment where she can openly share God’s love and knows she has the support of brothers and sisters in Christ every step of the way.

Adrianna Ortega joined West Valley Christian School in December 2024 and currently teaches 2nd grade, having previously taught both 2nd grade and P.E. She earned her Associate’s Degree from Glendale Community College and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.
Born and raised in Glendale, Arizona, Adrianna’s life was forever changed in 7th grade when she encountered Jesus in a personal way at Jr. High Camp. After giving her life to Him and being baptized, she later had the privilege of working at the same camp for two summers, helping create the same life-changing experiences for other students. That passion for ministry and investing in young people continues to drive her work in the classroom today.
Adrianna is very close to her parents, who have been married for over 35 years, and she enjoys spending time with them going to D-backs games, watching movies, and playing card games together. She also loves being an aunt to her new niece and is engaged to her fiancé, Andrew, with their wedding planned for this December.

Glorianna Singleton joined West Valley Christian School in 2023 and serves as the Preschool Coordinator. She studied at Glendale Community College and brings a unique perspective shaped by her experiences growing up between Florida, California, and Arizona. Moving often taught her how to adapt quickly and connect with people from all walks of life — a skill that now influences her leadership and the way she builds relationships with students, families, and staff.
Family plays a special role in Glorianna’s life, especially as a proud aunt to six nieces and nephews who keep her grounded, laughing, and constantly inspired.
Outside of work, Glorianna loves staying creative and active. She enjoys playing guitar and piano, sewing, making jewelry, and exploring other hands-on hobbies. She also spends time hiking, working out, and participating in Bible studies — recharging both physically and spiritually. Whether she’s creating something new, enjoying nature, or investing in her faith, she approaches life with balance and intentionality.
What Glorianna loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the opportunity to partner with parents in nurturing both the academic and spiritual growth of students. She values WVCS’s culture of biblical truth, unity, and care and finds joy in watching young students fall in love with the Lord. For her, these moments are a reminder of the deep impact this community has on the hearts and minds of its children.

As the Facilities Director and Athletic Director at West Valley Christian School, Bryan Timmer is committed to ensuring that WVCS provides a safe, well-maintained, and thriving environment for students, staff, and families while also leading the development of a strong and competitive athletics program.
Bryan grew up in Arizona and attended Dordt University. Working on his grandparents’ dairy farm was a formative experience, teaching him the values of hard work, dedication, and commitment — lessons that continue to guide him both personally and professionally.
Bryan is married and a proud father of two children. When he’s not on campus, he loves spending time with his kids and playing golf with his family.
What Bryan loves most about being part of the West Valley Christian community is the sense of connection and growth he sees developing on campus:
“I love the community that is forming this year.”
