You want the best for your child. We want that too. That means they must become a skilled critical thinker with a firm academic foundation, and a solid biblical worldview. That means they must become a lifelong learner and a strong servant leader who will dedicate themselves to enriching the lives of others. So, we developed our elementary program to ensure your child’s success in all these areas. Your child will engage in a carefully refined curriculum, and work with an amazing staff of teachers who are wholly committed to providing your child with a solid foundation, one that will provide a Distinctly Christian and Deliberately Excellent Education.

I love the leadership at this school. The faculty are truly concerned with not just the education of the children but also their faith and how they display it. Couldn’t ask for better leaders and staff.

Extended Care

We also understand that your work schedule may not allow you to drop off or pick up your child immediately before or after school. That’s why we offer low-cost extended care to keep your son or daughter safe and happy until class begins, or you return from work.

Let us guide your child on their educational journey!

Exceptional Learner Program (ELP)

Our Exceptional Learner Coordinator, Mrs. Deborah Beggs, and her team partner with parents, teachers, and staff to meet the academic needs of Exceptional Learners. Through the Exceptional Learners Program (ELP), students who qualify receive support in their general education classroom, small groups, and/or one-to-one settings. Additionally, we have a Speech and Language Therapist and a Barton Reading Program Tutor on-site. Counseling referrals are also available.

If your student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or a 504 Plan, please contact Mrs. Beggs prior to starting the admission process, so she can review your student’s documentation and determine if WVCS is the right fit for your student. Documents can be sent via email to dbeggs@wvchristianschool.org or via fax to 623-234-2199, Attention: Mrs. Beggs.

Families who receive services through the Exceptional Learner Program are charged an additional fee based on the amount of support they receive. Current rates are available through the Business Office.

To start the review process, please contact Mrs. Beggs at dbeggs@wvchristianschool.org or call the school office at 623-234-2100.

We look forward to collaborating with you in the education of your exceptional learner!
