Biblical truth provides the foundation for every subject taught and every aspect of the student experience at West Valley Christian. We seek to partner with families to form a solid foundation for our students built on a Biblical worldview and provide students age-appropriate opportunities to own and live out their faith.
Spiritual Life
Forming A Solid Foundation
Weekly Chapel
Students at every grade level attend chapel each week. Our chapels feature student-led worship. Families are invited to attend our chapel services, one for students in grades K-5 and one for students in grades 6-10. Once a quarter, we partner with our local churches for a “church takeover” chapel.
Service Projects
We seek to develop a servant’s heart in our students and emphasize the importance of serving others. Students have the opportunity to serve through various outreach projects and mission trips.
Examples of opportunities that students have to serve others include:
- Swaziland – Investing in the lives of our sponsored children
- Operation Christmas Child – Gifts for impoverished kids
- Feed My Starving Children – Packing food for children around the world
- Harvest Compassion Center – clothing and supply drives for our local homeless population
- Choices Pregnancy Center – Collecting clothing and supplies for expecting moms
Bible Version
At West Valley Christian, we utilize the Christian Standard Bible version for all classes, curriculum, chapels, and other uses.
This translation and version are required for all 2nd through 10th grade students.
