During school hours, WVCS utilizes the Raptor Visitor Management System to enhance campus safety and security for students and faculty. The Raptor system allows us to track visitors, contractors, and volunteers to help us ensure a safe environment for our community.

Security
West Valley Christian strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive. We seek to maintain the highest standards of safety, ensuring every member of our community feels safe and supported.
Armed security guards are on duty while school is in session and during any school-sponsored activities. Our security guards check all parts of campus regularly throughout the day. Our campus is equipped with modern security and monitoring systems, and we maintain a closed-campus policy with secure entry points. WVCS conducts regular safety drills to ensure faculty and student readiness in any situation.
Visitor Management
Visitor Badges
Upon entering our school office, visitors will be asked by our front desk staff to present a valid state-issued ID (such as a driver’s license, U.S. military card, U.S. passport, or permanent resident card), which will be scanned into the system. It is important to note that the Raptor system only scans the visitor’s name, date of birth, and photo for comparison with a national database of registered sex offenders. Additional visitor data from the driver’s license is not gathered nor is the system connected to any other system.
Once cleared through the system, a visitor badge is produced that includes a photo, name of the visitor, date, destination on campus, and time. These badges will allow WVCS Staff to quickly determine if visitors are in areas where they should or should not be. All guests exit through the main office, allowing our staff to check them out of the visitor system.
A visitor’s badge will not be necessary for those who visit our schools simply to drop off an item in the office or pick up paperwork. West Valley Christian School staff reserves the right to deny anyone entry to the building.
Wellness
West Valley Christian is dedicated to supporting the physical, social, and emotional wellness of every student by providing compassionate and developmentally appropriate support for our students.
We employ a full-time registered nurse, have CPR certified faculty and staff, and have AEDs throughout the campus.
